Although we maintain traditional 'smart office attire' as a rule, it has been a long-standing tradition here at Goldwyns that Fridays are a more informal day with casual clothing allowed instead.

Not only has this always proved popular with the staff but there is also a charge of £1 each for the privilege which all goes to a good cause. The beneficiaries typically have some connection to a staff member or otherwise to the firm or local area and are then picked randomly from a pool of suggestions. As a consequence, over the last year we have raised £680 between the following charities:

• Prostate Cancer UK
• Fair Havens Hospice
• Cancer Research UK
• Alzheimer's Research

So if you stop by our offices on a Friday and find it odd that we are all dressed down you now know why! We are always open to suggestions for other causes so if you have a charity in mind you are more than welcome to mention it to us and we shall add it to the list.
