UK200Group News Update
The early months of 2009 have been extremely hard for many businesses. UK200Group members have worked more closely than ever with clients to help ease the problems and we have campaigned vigorously about the banks’ lack of support and lack of flexibility. If there are now signs of a slight easing in the situation, we can probably take some of the credit, but we believe it will take at least another nine months before we see the first green shoots of recovery.
Which brings us to a key move of special interest to clients who have ever listened to the charismatic Dennis Turner, Chief Economist of HSBC. Dennis has agreed to speak at a series of UK200Group regional meetings on the subject of ‘UK Recession - How long, how deep - and post-recession?’
We know the challenges businesses have to overcome and as accountants and business advisers we can help solve exceptional problems strategically, as well as deal with monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and sourcing finance.
