Robert graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1996 and joined Goldwyns in 1997. Shortly after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Robert was promoted through the firm, becoming a director in 2014 and a full partner in 2015.

Robert manages a diverse portfolio of assignments that includes clients in the charity and not-for-profit sectors.

Robert is also vice-chairman of SOSCAG, the Southend-on-Sea Chartered Accountants Group.

Outside of work, Robert is kept busy with his young family but enjoys the occasional round of golf and watching Formula One.
