Goldwyns News

“As many friends and clients will know, I have been having chemotherapy and radiotherapy for a cancer located at the base of my tongue. Since people became aware, I have been overwhelmed by the gifts, cards, kind wishes and the thoughts and prayers of so many. At the time of typing this I am in the middle of what I hope will be my last chemotherapy session and my radiotherapy ends in two days’ time. By the time you read this I will be recuperating from the side effects, and hopefully will be returned to full fitness in due course. It is perhaps only in adversity [and humility] that one understands the high regard that people have; I am truly humbled. I appreciate that friends and clients know I am not competitive by nature and therefore the fact I have lost two stone in weight which has improved my go-karting laps by about one and a half seconds is of absolutely no interest to me at all…

Once again my sincere thanks to everyone.”
