Goldwyns News

As 2015 comes towards an end, so too has the 19 year partnership of Bhooshan Maini.

Bhooshan joined the firm in 1996 and became a partner shortly after. Well respected by his clients and having supported countless trainees through the firm in the intervening period, it was a difficult decision for Bhooshan to make and it was with regret that he ultimately decided to retire altogether from the accounting profession. We are sure those of you who know him will join us in wishing him well in whatever new venture he embarks upon.

On a more positive note, we are pleased to announce the continuing advancement of his successor Robert Howe. Robert has been with Goldwyns for nearly as long as Bhooshan and so has a substantial experience of Bhooshan's clients to draw upon. The transition between partners can sometimes present certain practical issues and so Robert and Bhooshan have been working together to ensure theirs is a smooth transition.

All of this serves as a reminder for all businesses to keep in mind their ultimate aims. In the daily tribulations of running a business succession planning is rarely given the consideration it deserves. As always, we are here to help you with this process and to talk through the various options and tax implications of such matters. Please feel free to get in touch.
